Our founder Sam spent six years serving in the Royal Marines, safeguarding the UK’s nuclear deterrent and deploying overseas on operations, including humanitarian relief after Hurricane Irma in 2017. Following a medical discharge in 2019, Sam transitioned into the corporate world, where he quickly saw a different kind of challenge: endless layers of bureaucracy and corporate tape that made it almost impossible to implement change, especially when it came to AI and automation.

That frustration sparked an idea. Drawing on the discipline, adaptability and problem-solving skills forged in the Royal Marines, Sam founded Sixteen64, named after the year the Royal Marines were established. Our mission is simple.
